"I just wanted him to show some initiative in caring for me!"
"How would I know...she didn't say anything!"A familiar sort of spat between couples, is it not? I have recently concocted a new theory (or perhaps not so new between the relationship experts), or should I say, a valuable lesson. Ladies, we all know that what you want is for your boyfriend to be able to read your mind and take some initiative to be concerned about you. Trust me, I know that all too well. Guys, you always face the same problem with your partners - not knowing what to do.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but guys are generally willing to do anything you ask them to, if it's within their capabilities. Somehow, though, the ladies have a problem with the asking, because we feel that our other halves should understand us and know what we want and need. Well, but let's face it - they don't, and never will.
A sort of compromise needs to be achieved between the 2 genders, since none will ever completely change to become the other. Ladies, the guys cannot understand your minds. They function too simply to understand our complex thoughts (no offense here, guys). Hence, what you need to do is simply ask, and they will give what they can. As for you guys, try asking some questions that show your concern once in awhile - a little statement goes a long way.
